Michael J. Wright

Michael Wright brings over twenty years litigation experience to SMTD Law in a wide variety of cases, including breach of contract; developer liability; shareholder, partnership and joint venture disputes; fraud; and bankruptcy actions.

His clients have included multinationals, privately held corporations and individuals with matters in state and federal court, as well as private ADR. Michael works with his clients to develop litigation strategies that closely align with their ultimate business objectives, favoring a pragmatic approach to dispute resolution where that best serves those goals.

Michael relocated to California from London in 2001, where he attended Western State College of Law on a full academic scholarship, was a member of the law review, and graduated valedictorian. More importantly, that’s also where he met his wife.
