Homan Taghdiri

Homan Taghdiri focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, business, and hospitality, with respect to both transactional and litigation matters. Mr. Taghdiri represents business owners, management companies, operators, landlords, tenants, developers, and contractors in a wide range of matters. Mr. Taghdiri counsels clients from the initial acquisition phase of a project, through development, and to disposition – with a focus on drafting purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, ground leases, option agreements, construction agreements, vendor agreements, reviewing loan documents and alternative financing options, title review, and entitlements. Mr. Taghdiri also handles large scale lease transactions on behalf of both landlords and tenants. Mr. Taghdiri is also frequently called upon to consult on hospitality and development projects, and has a keen sense for being able to incorporate functionality with innovative design elements, as well as assisting with the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures for a variety of hospitality businesses. Prior to working with the firm, Mr. Taghdiri had his own practice and served as General Counsel to a privately held Southern California real estate, investment, and development company with holdings in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, and New York – and has served in roles which have included not only those which have been legal in nature, but also in executive level management. Mr. Taghdiri has also been an active participant in his family’s real estate investment projects, and his own hospitality businesses.
